Behind The Scenes

Strawberry is constructing Hotel Draken, which is set to open in the fall of 2023. The hotel boasts 34 floors, 474 rooms, three restaurants, a spa, a cinema, conference spaces, and more. This specific mission was to design window graphics for the conference rooms on the third floor. These graphics needed to strike a balance between allowing natural light to filter through while also providing privacy from passersby.

The conference rooms draw inspiration from the "behind the scenes" world of film production. To achieve this concept, I created multi-layered window graphics, each layer representing different typical attributes and tasks from the world of filmmaking. They include cameras, film reels, clapperboards, and other iconic symbols of cinema, all artfully layered to create a sense of depth and intrigue. The colors chosen for these graphics were carefully matched to the hotel's carpets, chairs, and overall interior, creating a cohesive and immersive atmosphere.
