ED – Environmental Data

PEAB aims to gain better control over its environmental data. Therefore, a project was initiated to enhance the company's environmental data management. The work needs to be effectively communicated, requiring a communication concept to raise awareness, foster engagement, and encourage action. The target audience should be aware of the project, perceive it as wise and interesting, have a desire to be involved, and take action to contribute to its success.

The solution was ED – a concise and impactful name with both a direct and indirect meaning, adaptable to different themes and areas. A logo and visual identity were developed for the project. The fundamental element of the logo is the honeycomb, which symbolizes the project in a relevant and clear manner. The honeycomb structure, composed of hexagonal wax cells created by bees for storing honey and eggs, represents the project's core concept. Interest and differentiation are achieved by adding the character "Ed" – a collector, contributor, and spokesperson for the project. New flower pictograms symbolize the client's various data sources. The imagery employed is natural, dramatic, and exciting, with a Nordic environment to unite the companies and business areas.
